The Chuck Jordan Hot Tamale Parade

Everybody loves a parade... Catch the Hot Tamale Spirit!!!!!
 
CHUCK JORDAN HOT TAMALE PARADE
Saturday, October 19, 2019 @ 9:15 a.m.
Downtown Greenville

 
8:30. a.m.- participant staging for the parade will be Hinds/Washington Ave. in front of the Wetherbee House. 
  
9:15 a.m.- Route: Washington Ave.- Hinds St. to Walnut St. 

9:30 a.m.- Stein Mart Square Stage - Official Welcome & Presentation of  Hot Tamale Royalty. Adults,children, strollers, red wagons, pets-on-leash, bikes, you are invited to participate or to come, watch and enjoy the parade! It's a kick-it-up (2-block) New Orleans style fun parade. Come and celebrate the Festival  with King Jack Jackson and Queen Betty Lynn Cameron, our 2019 Hot Tamale Festival Royalty. This year, we Welcome Greenville High School & Coleman Middle School Bands! A select number of members will be performing in the Hot Tamale Parade!

Main Street Greenville is a subsidiary of The Greater Greenville Development Foundation, Inc. which was developed exclusively for charitable, educational, scientific, and literary purposes. The purpose of the organization is to promote events and issues which are relevant to the quality of life for the residents of Greenville, Washington County, the Mississippi Delta and the State of Mississippi, including but not limited to, economic planning and development, education, housing and cultural development.
