The Jarekus Singleton Band, rooted in Mississippi blues and acclaimed for blending modern rock, soul, and gospel influences, has become one of the most exciting young acts in American blues. Their high-energy performances and powerful storytelling make them a perfect complement to Blues Traveler’s iconic sound. The Delta Hot Tamale Festival has been recognized as one of the top Specialty Food Festivals in the U.S. by USA Today and is repeatedly awarded Best Fall Festival in Mississippi by Mississippi Magazine. Each year, more than 30,000 visitors gather to enjoy food, music, and Delta culture. The festival kicks off Thursday with a ticketed Welcome Dinner, followed by Food Truck Friday featuring live music and a Friday evening concert headlined by Mississippi native Ryan Cooper. Saturday’s main festival day begins at 9 a.m. with a parade and continues with arts and crafts vendors, tamale and food vendors, two stages of live music, a cooking contest, and an eating contest.
